Why Choose Feeding San Diego

I care because of all the people around me. At the same time Im helping feed the hungry, they are helping me support my family.

Sonny Reyes

I am passionate about working at Feeding San Diego because I want to be part of the solution to end hunger. No one should have to worry about where their next meal comes from, and I am proud to work for an organization that provides food, resources and support for those in need. My role as Youth Meals coordinator is especially rewarding because the program provides families food security and peace of mind knowing their children will be fed. The impact Feeding San Diego has on our community is priceless and I am grateful to work every day towards solving hunger in San Diego.

Brianna Guerrero

I love what Im doing, delivering food to the communities.

Eduardo Quiroga

When I wake up each day, Im given the opportunity to enrich the lives of others by connecting them to food resources, and what a special feeling that is. FSDs mission and why I chose this line of work comes full circle for me when Im able to see the food we rescue given back out into the community. The smiles of those giving and receiving the food make such a lasting impression on your heart. At the end of the day, its more about who you have helped or brought happiness to above anything else.
