Monty’s Market seeks to alleviate student challenges by gathering donations in response to the needs of our students. We are committed to fulfill the needs of MVC lions through food distribution and support services. Distributions are free to enrolled students in need.
Monty’s Market was founded by the Human Services program and is managed by MVC’s Basic Needs and Wellness team.
A student shouldn’t have to choose between eating well and learning well.
Who Can Visit A Drive
Drive-thru pantries are open for anyone who needs help getting food. There are no eligibility criteria. Visitors do not need to provide any identification or income statements.
Only two piece of information is asked
- You Zipcode, and
- Number of people in their family.
You dont need to take appointment. Drive-thru pantries are first-come, first served so plan to arrive early.
Senior Mobile Pantry Program
FARSB implemented the Senior Mobile Pantry Program * to address the increased demand for older adults and other families in need of food assistance throughout the Inland Empire. SMPP focuses on serving not only low-income households with adults 60 years of age or older but also other low-income households within both Riverside and San Bernardino counties through regularly scheduled food distribution programs. Food recipients are guaranteed to receive nutritious, healthy, and high-quality food kits at no cost through The Emergency Food Assistance Program . SMPP seeks to serve up to 2,000 households every month.

The Community Assistance Program is a private non-profit food pantry located in Moreno Valley, CA. We actively work to improve the quality of life for Moreno Valley residents who are in need of emergency food, clothing, and utlity assistance. Since we opened in January of 1992, we have served over 55,000 local families with food and clothing and over 1200 families with utility payments, bus vouchers, and household items. Our motto is ‘People Helping People’ and we couldn’t do this without our amazing volunteers. We at CAP are grateful for all the support of the Moreno Valley community with their time, resources, and talent.

Pre-packed bags of food, usually full of shelf-stable items like pasta, canned fruit and peanut butter, as well as fresh produce and meats are loaded by volunteers into the trunk of the car.
