Their Kid’s Cafe and Backpack programs provide supplemental food to school children on weekends and after school.
They also operate a Mobile Pantry Program that increases service in rural areas.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas Without a doubt, the economy has been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic, affecting thousands of Texans.Local churches, school districts, and food banks have started pop-up distribution sites all across the City of Corpus Christi and surrounding areas to help the community in this time of need.
The Summer curbside meals program from the Corpus Christi Independent School District will resume at the District’s 10 Middle Schools and 6 comprehensive High Schools each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday this upcoming six-week period.
“Starting Thursday, August 13, free breakfast and lunch will be provided to all CCISD students. Curbside service will be offered from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.,” said CCISD officials.
Many families have relied on the food being distributed by CCISD over the past several months.

Church Unlimited says their food distribution hours have changed. Their hours are now Sunday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Coastal Bend Food Bank To Host Food Distribution On Monday
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas The Coastal Bend Food Bank is holding an emergency food distribution on Monday at Moody High School, 1818 Trojan Drive.
The distribution will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. or until supplies last.
The food bank asks that you have your trunk open and empty when you arrive.

Our goal is to see the face of Christ in each client who enters our door and to treat each client with respect. Our volunteers care for each client on an individual basis. Programs are administered with no regard to race, religion, country of origin or gender. Our families live paycheck to paycheck and even a small emergency expense can cause serious crises to their household.
The Corpus Christi Food Pantry helps prevent hunger.Our goal is to serve our clients while preserving their dignity. We provide food, basic toiletries and basic cleaning supplies to all Nashua residents who are in need. Our goal is to provide 3 to 5 days of food per client every 21 days. We are unique in that each client chooses their supplies from a list of whats available and then these items are bagged for them to take home immediately.
The Food Pantry may also supply a simple gift for a childs birthday or basic back-to-school supplies during a clients visit. Additionally Thanksgiving and Easter food basket distributions occur coordinated with the local community. In special support of our seniors Corpus Christi Food Pantry delivers food to three low income elderly housing complexes in Nashua once a week.
