Free Food Pantries And Groceries In Collier County Florida

The leading free food pantries, churches, soup kitchens, government programs and non-profit charities in Collier County Florida to call or stop by at for assistance are below. Some of the pantries near you only help people in certain zip codes, and other locations limit the amount of food, groceries and meals that they will distribute. But pantries can give away free food or groceries today to address immediate needs. There is also a referral number at the bottom of the page for more locations.

The assistance programs, whether non-profit or government run, and food pantries offer a wide range of services as well as resources to low income families and others who need help. Most centers distribute groceries and perishable foodstuffs, such as fruits, vegetables, breads, and meats. Some also offer free personal hygiene items, toiletries, Meals on Wheels services, or holiday meals. Emergency food boxes may also be offered in a crisis by many of the Collier food pantries.

Some of the centers will also offer special programs or additional services as well. This can range from clothes, summer school lunches or meals for children, and additional services for holidays such as Christmas, Easter, or Thanksgiving. Thousands of families receive help from the Naples and Collier County food pantries every year.

Every Tuesday rain or shine we open our pantry to any in need. Come receive food, prayer, and encouragement in our Fellowship Building toward back of campus. No stipulations, just bring an ID and yourself. We give because we have been given!

Our food pantry makes a meaningful and lasting impact in our community by addressing both the physical and spiritual needs of individuals and families we serve. Our pantry averages serving over 100 people a week, giving out 1000s of pounds food.

Missoula Food Bank To Host 4th Annual Symphony In The Park At Caras Park

MISSOULA, Mont. In an effort to collect food donations, the Missoula Food Bank is hosting its fourth annual Symphony in the Park at Caras Park in Missoula Sunday, Aug. 14.

The event is free, and community members are asked to bring canned or other non-perishable food items to be allocated to the food bank.

This year, organizers created a goal to stock up on 2,000 pounds of food.

In late 2019 when this partnership began, no one could have foreseen the rise in need for emergency food assistance within our community, Kelli Hess, Interim Executive Director of Missoula Food Bank & Community Center, said in a release from the Missoula Food Bank. Were so grateful that the Symphony in the Park food drive brings in so much nutritious food that help us keep pace with our busy, back-to-school season.

The event will be happening at 7 p.m., and the Missoula Symphony Orchestra will feature music by Aretha Franklin, John Williams and Stephen Sondheim.

In addition to food donations, attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chairs.

The Missoula Food Bank said in its release they will be giving free Missoula Food Bank & Community Centers Missoula Under Construction event tickets to the first 100 community members who bring donations.

Missoula Under Construction gives kids the chance to drive the big rigs and learn about the trades through a day of play, the release said.

Missoula Under Construction event will be happening Saturday, Aug. 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Fort Missoula.
